Barbados is encouraging African commercial and investment banks to set up operations in the Caribbean.
Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley has made the call, urging the financial institutions in Africa to follow the example of the African Export-Import Bank, Afreximbank.
Her comments come as she leads a Barbados delegation at the ongoing second AfriCaribbean Trade and Investment Forum in Guyana.
