The Ministry of Education is exploring other examination bodies outside of the CXC and CVQ to recognise children who are not considered to be strong in academia.

She was speaking at a panel discussion put on by the Barbados Accreditation Council named “Towards a National Qualifications Framework: Re imagining Higher Education in the Barbados Economy.”
Ms. Archer- Bradshaw who was just a spectator at the panel, joined in and pointed out that while a lot of children do well at the CXC level, the focus should not only be on that but also on recognising students in other ways.
