A 39-year-old man had to be freed from a vehicle using the jaws of life after he was involved in an accident in Lears, St. Michael.
Reports indicate a flatbed truck careened off the carriageway and collided with a lorry, trapping the driver of the flatbed truck inside the vehicle.
Acting Leading Fire Officer Junior Foster says at 4:00 p.m. a team at the Bridgetown Port Station received a call from their dispatch centre informing of the collision.
He says the victim complained of back pain and pain in the right knee.
