Police investigations are ongoing into the death of a 40-year-old St. Michael man, following a stabbing incident yesterday.
He has been identified as Daryl Niles of Mahogany Lane.
Police say around 8:40 p.m. the Operations Control Room received a report that a male presented at the A&E Department of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Martindales Road, St. Michael with what appeared to be stab wounds.
Preliminary investigations revealed that earlier in the night, two men were liming at a shop at Green Park Lane, St. Michael when they became involved in a verbal dispute, which turned violent. Niles was injured and was transported in a private vehicle to the QEH, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
