Man charged for neighbour’s murder

The Barbados Police Service has arrested and formally charged a man after an altercation resulted in the death of his neighbour, Hendy Greaves.

Police noted in a press release that their Criminal Investigation Department (South) arrested 37-year-old Alex Damian Burnett, of Cheshire, St. John, for the murder of Hendy Greaves on September 7, 2023.

He appeared before Magistrate Joy-Ann Clarke in the District ‘C’/St. Matthias Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, and is scheduled to reappear on October 11, 2023, having been remanded to Dodds Prison.
