Local group doing its part to help those with autism

As the Ministry of Education works to develop programmes to help autistic children, a local group is doing its part to help improve the lives of people with the disorder.

Too Loving Moms Foundation organised a day of activities yesterday for children and adults with the condition at Kids World Rental in St. George.

Co-founder Sharon Walker says the Water Play Day event is intended to help stimulate the minds and bodies of autistic individuals.

Ms. Walker thanked those individuals and businesses that donated to the event.
