The Kiwanis organisation in Barbados is intent on continuing its many service and charity initiatives in 2024, as it celebrates 50 years in operation this year.
Speaking during its anniversary thanksgiving service at the St. Leonard’s Anglican Church, Anniversary Chair, Distinguished Lieutenant Governor Jennifer Hinkson, reflected on a few of the key national activities and projects they have spearheaded over the years.
Meanwhile, Rector of the Church, Reverend Dr. Sonia Hinds, in her ministry of the word, lauded the continued efforts of the Kiwanis and similar organisations, especially as it relates to their important work with children.
