As Government debates the Resolution: 2023-2028 National Policy on Ageing, Minister of Industry, Innovation, Science and Technology Marsha Caddle is stressing the importance of good health for older people.
She says it’s something that requires consideration and action long before people reach that stage of their life.
For example, she says, nutrition plays a critical part in maintaining good health and while Government will do what it can to assist in that regard, there should be greater discussion about people’s nutritional intake.
