Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley Mottley provided an update on plans for a probe into the state-owned “Home Ownership Providing Energy” or HOPE Project.
This update was given during yesterday’s televised press conference where she outlined new measures to stem gun violence. It was first announced in March, during her wrap-up of the Budget Debate.
At the time, the Prime Minister admitted the Government was not happy with some aspects of the project which attempts to provide housing solutions for Barbadians.
She spoke about the status of the investigation in response to a question from a reporter.
