The Child Care Board has been receiving more reports of child abuse for this year in comparison to last year.
Director, Roseann Richards made the disclosure at the second annual walk for Child Abuse Awareness and Prevention Month.
Scores of the Board’s staff, children and others made their way from Cheapside through the City armed with placards and decked out in blue.
In a bid to collect even more reports, Senior Child Care Officer, Roxanne Sanderson, is encouraging people to download the recently re-launched My Child Helpline app on their devices.
