The Hilda Skeene Primary School was closed early after a male parent entered the compound unannounced and behaved in a way which left teachers and students feeling threatened.
The school’s Principal locked the gate and police were subsequently called to the Ruby, St. Philip compound.
The incident is presently being investigated by the Ministry of Education and police.
The public is being reminded not to enter school compounds unannounced.
Appointments must be made, and once permission is granted, identification must be presented to enter the school.
