Harris Paints has become the first paint manufacturer in the eastern Caribbean to have its products tested and added to the Approved Products List by the Master Painters Institute.
Headquartered in Vancouver, Canada, MPI is an institute dedicated to the establishment of quality standards and quality assurance programmes, training, and publications for the architectural paint and coatings sector in the USA and Canada.
According to officials, the achievement by Harris Paints proves Caribbean-manufactured products can surpass or be on par with global competitors and top international brand names.
Senior Vice President for Sales and Marketing, Luke Ticknor says the results validate Harris Paints’ long-standing commitment to provide top quality products that are second to none.
He points out the products approved are not just in one product line, but across five different categories, demonstrating the bench strength across the Harris Paints range.
