Today the Barbados Police Service (BPS) destroyed 168 guns.
According to a BPS statement, the Police took custody of the guns through investigations, while others were handed in by family members once licensed holders had passed away.
“The Barbados Police Service will continue to keep Barbados safe by removing as many guns from the streets as we can.
“Remember, if you see something, say something and assist us in our efforts to keep Barbados safe,” the statement added.
