Government has been clearing the air about the $60 fee surrounding the new Trident Identification Card.
In a statement issued this afternoon, Attorney General Dale Marshall, stressed the fee is not for the first issue of the cards.
He explains it only applies to replacement cards.
As such, Mr. Marshall revealed that 202,140 people already registered have collected their ID cards for free.
The AG says this stance is constant with the Barbados Identity Management Act and he explains what the legislation describes as the transitional period.
