The General Insurance Association of Barbados (GIAB) was represented on the programme by President Randy Graham.
He also sought to reassure Barbadians regarding concerns raised by callers about the establishment of liability and payment of claims.
He says the insurance industry is ready to take on the responsibility of being the responders to minor accidents.
He adds that the sector supports the news Road Traffic Accident Investigation Policy, as it recognises the strain the force is under given the current crime situation.
