Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley announced plans to increase focus on reintegrating and where necessary, supporting first-time offenders who have served their time.
She made the points during yesterday’s televised press conference.
She says she has asked Minister of Home Affairs Wilfred Abrahams, to work on the implementation of a comprehensive rehabilitation programme.
