The Flash Flood Watch for Barbados has been discontinued.
In its latest update, the Barbados Meteorological Services says the island experienced occasional light to heavy showers as a strong tropical wave affected the island.
At present, the threat of excessive rainfall has diminished and hence, the Flash Flood Watch is discontinued.
Wet conditions will persist into tonight and tomorrow, Sunday, August 20, 2023 as the tail-end of the tropical wave affects Barbados.
The public is advised that a Flash Flood Watch or Warning could be issued at short notice as the tropical wave continues to affect the island.
