At least five people were injured in a shooting incident which occurred at Shepton Lane, The Pine, St. Michael Tuesday night around 11:15 pm.
The Barbados Police Service is reporting that the men ages 26, 27, 37, 37 and 42 received gunshot injuries and left the scene for medical attention via private transport.
They added in a press release that, “these men were at a location along Shepton Lane when two men on a motorcycle approached and opened fire striking and injuring the mentioned five men.
“The injuries ranged from neck, chest, feet, arms and upper and lower torso. At this point in time, the most seriously injured persons were described by medical personnel as ‘serious but stable condition’.
“The assailants rode away afterwards.Investigations are continuing.”
