The local business community is being called out on some of their advertising practices.
Minister of Energy and Business Development Senator Lisa Cummins is asking them not to take advantage of the lack of financial understanding of people in desperate situations.
Speaking during the launch of the National Financial Literacy Expansion Programme Senator Cummins said they will be doing their part to educate Barbadians on financial matters and has called for good corporate responsibility to prevail.
