A Dodds inmate who escaped custody while attending the Physiotherapy Department at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital this afternoon has been recaptured.
He has been identified as 37 year old Roger Rommel Sealy alias ‘Duck foot’.
Police PRO Acting Inspector Rodney Inniss, says Sealy, who was on remand facing a charge of aggravated burglary, was recaptured in Clapham, St. Michael at 6:30 this evening.
Earlier today he was in the custody of a prison officer at the QEH when he ran off, jumped the western carpark fence and escaped.
Police and prison officers converged on the area and searched the surrounding districts but were unable to locate the prisoner until this evening.
