The Errol Barrow statue in Independence Square has been transformed just in time for Errol Barrow Day.
The before and after photos of the 9 foot bronze sculpture now stand in stark contrast.
Head of Conservation and Collection Care at the Barbados Museum and Historical Society, Anne Bancroft tells CBC News the work which involved several treatments, was overseen by a specialist sculpture conservation consultant from Puerto Rico.
