A suggestion Barbados can enhance its tourism sector through closer relationships with the African continent.
This is the view of Minister of Foreign Affairs, Kerrie Symmonds who’s warned about boxing the country into a model where the country is viewed as a warm weather getaway.
He says the tourism sector and its eco-system must be able to thrive year-round.
The Senior Minister was among the panel for a special television presentation on CBC TV8 in commemoration of Africa-CARICOM Day.
