Determined to make Barbados a more inclusive society, Government has told employers they have a few years to adjust their hiring practices to accommodate people with disabilities or it will be made mandatory.
This warning was delivered by Minister of People Empowerment and Elder Affairs Kirk Humphrey.
He served notice while addressing the graduation ceremony for the National Disabilities Unit Sign Language and Flower Arranging courses.
