Elderly man dies in hit-and-run

A 75-year-old man has died following a hit-and-run in Lodge Road, Christ Church around 9:15 last night.

He has been identified as Ainsley Roosevelt Bradshaw of Kings Court, also in Lodge Road, Christ Church.

Police say while Bradshaw was walking along the road, he was struck by a vehicle. The driver fled the scene.

Bradshaw was pronounced dead by a doctor who visited the scene.

Police are appealing to the public for information on the driver and vehicle involved. Investigations are ongoing.
