Government is hoping to use the sport of football as a tool to help young Barbadians develop their talents and skills as global citizens.
Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley made the disclosure this morning during the launch of the highly anticipated Prime Minister’s Cup, set to run from August 25 to November 30.
She also says the recent spike of violence on the island must come to an end.
