Officials at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital are taking steps to boost efficiency in the facility and ultimately improve service delivery to the public.
The assurance from Minister of State in the Ministry of Health and Wellness with Responsibility for the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Non Communicable Diseases, Dr. Sonia Browne.
Speaking on CBC’s call in programme, Let’s Talk About It, Dr. Browne outlined strategies being considered which include extending the hours of some theatres and relocating more clinics offsite.
So far a Bed Management Department to oversee the availability of beds and other things has been created.
