The Ministry of Education in a bid to reverse current trends in the island’s national literacy rates will be taking a more structured approach in the way literacy is taught.
Chief Education Officer Dr. Ramona Archer-Bradshaw says programmes are being introduced to assist.
She provided insight into her back-to-school message for the academic year 2024 – 2025.
Ms. Archer-Bradshaw reminded teachers their role in the transformative process is vital.
