A 4.6 magnitude earthquake was recorded in the waters off Barbados earlier today.
According to the Seismic Research Centre of the University of the West Indies, the quake occurred at 12:54 p.m., 114 kilometres northwest of Bridgetown, and 87 kilometres east of Castries, St. Lucia.
It struck at a depth of 10 kilometres.
