Barbados will be updating the model for the country’s double taxation agreement.
The announcement was made by Minister of Energy and Business Senator Lisa Cummins.
She revealed meetings will be held tommorow to discuss the new model with several key agencies.
Minister Cummins’ remarks came at the official launch of the National Financial Literacy Programme at the Warrens Suite in the Baobab Towers.
A new logo was also unveiled.
Ms. Cummins says her Ministry intends to incorporate every element of financing in the programme.
