While lauding the temporary reduction of the Air Travel and Tourism Development Fee, also referred to as the Airport Service Charge, Home Affairs Minister, Wilfred Abrahams says it is just a small step and more needs to be done to boost intraregional travel.
He says private/public partnerships to host events year round are needed to boost arrivals.
Minister Abrahams has called for CARICOM to state a united position to reduce airfare costs.
