Talks between Government and the labour movement on allowances for public sector workers are to get underway in September.
This from Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley.
During her Budget Speech she reminded the Lower House that workers last got an increase in 2009.
She says its all part of a bigger plan to improve conditions for workers.
The last regrading exercise was done in 2007.
The Prime Minister says the introduction of the Trade Union Recognition Bill is currently before the social partners.
Meantime, Ms. Mottley has pledged to address what she calls some issues in the system.
