The delivery of garbage trucks ordered by Barbados has been delayed.
Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley assured the country the trucks have already been paid for, as she responded to concerns about garbage collection from residents of St. Andrew during last evening’s Parish Speaks at the Alleyne School.
She says in addition to vehicles already procured, the Government will ensure the Sanitation Service Authority secures additional trucks to service the country.
Ms. Mottley addressed another bugbear for residents relating to public transportation, stating buses will be coming in six months time.
