The victim in yesterday’s unnatural death in Work Hall, St. Philip has been officially identified by Police.
She is 20-year-old Joanna Ariella Safia Branch of Hopewell, Christ Church.
Police say around 3:40 last evening they received a report from ambulance personnel that there was a female at a residence with multiple injuries and no sign of life.
A person of interest was taken into custody and investigations are continuing.
The incident is the 26th recorded homicide for 2024.
