Five people have been displaced after fire completely destroyed their home in St. George on Sunday night.
According to reports, the fire at Monroe Road, Dash Valley started around 8:52 p.m. and destroyed the wooden house and all the family’s belongings.
Allison Collymore and four others lived there and some of them were home at time at the time of the blaze.
Two fire tenders and eight officers under the command of Divisional Officer Marlon Small and Station Officer Roger Bourne responded to the house fire, and two adjacent properties were slightly damaged by water and heat.
