Creation of Blue Green Bank to help build resilience

Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley says the creation of a Blue Green Bank will help Barbadians build resilience into every aspect of their living.

She says this has become necessary because of the climate crisis.

Prime Minister Mottley has warned the country is at risk of losing homelands, culture and civilisation in the face of rising temperatures.

She was speaking in the Lower House on the establishment of the Barbados Blue Green Bank Bill, 2024.

Prime Minister Mottley says the Blue Green Bank will allow companies and individuals to access capital at a cheaper rate.
