The head of a local consumer watchdog body is advising consumers against accepting substandard quality goods or services from businesses.
Executive Director of the Barbados Consumer Empowerment Betwork (BCEN), Maureen Holder is telling customers to take the goods back and get a refund.
She adds that there are numerous agencies customers can turn to if they are presented with any challenges in this respect.
