At least two local officials believe the soon-to-be-launched Connect Caribe Ferry Service will be a game changer for local trade, agriculture and tourism.
The Prime Minister’s Special Envoy to Suriname and Guyana Alphea Wiggins, along with Chairman of the Barbados Hotel and Tourism Association, Javon Griffith have both welcomed the news of the project.
They foresee it boosting the respective sectors and opening new avenues.
