Questions remain tonight surrounding the leaked Police report from a complainant who has accused Member of Parliament Neil Rowe of rape.
Mr. Rowe appeared at the Oistins Magistrates’ Court on Monday morning represented by attorneys-at-law Roger Forde, KC and Safiya Moore.
The complainant’s statement to Police has been circulating on social media, prompting some to raise concerns about how the case has been handled.
CBC News reached out to the Barbados Police Service for a response to the complainant’s report being leaked.
Police Public Relations Officer, acting Inspector Rodney Inniss, said lawmen would not be commenting on the issue at this stage.
Sharika Griffith has more details.
