A viral video of a woman whose foot somehow got caught in a metal manhole cover, has raised concerns about the potential danger posed by some of them.
While CBC has been unable to identify the injured woman, the video shows her foot trapped in the manhole, as she sits on the ground and is supported by an individual.
Another individual, who took the video can be heard saying the ministry responsible for roadworks needs to do better.
Well, CBC News reached out to the Ministry of Transport, Works and Water Resources for a comment and was told that while they are aware of the video, there’s been no official report about the incident.
CBC was also told that there is a process by which people who find themselves in such situations can submit personal injury claims to the Ministry.
Explaining that process is State Counsel Sharon Harris.
