Government’s Community Engagement and Educational Programme has been embraced by Barbadian youth.
It was introduced to educate Barbadians about the services and importance of the Barbados Revenue Authority, the National Insurance and Social Security Service, and the two financial institutions on board – Sagicor Bank and the Barbados Public Workers Cooperative Credit Union.
Acting Deputy Chief Community Development Officer Kay Hinds says the first phase has been completed.
She revealed on Mornin’ Barbados the programme will be taken across the entire island.
Communications Officer with the Barbados Revenue Authority Erica Lazare says through its association with the programme, the BRA was able to broaden its facilitation with communities.
