Patrons can still expect to be serenaded by the sweet sounds of the Barbados Police Service Band with guest performances by John Yarde, Mikey and gospel group Promise.
When a CBC team visited Queen’s Park this afternoon, a production team was making final preparations for the Saturday morning concert.
Director of Music of the Barbados Police Service Band Senior Superintendent Andrew Lynch is encouraging Barbadians to come out. He is also urging patrons to observe and adhere to all of the Ministry of Health’s protocols.
For those who cannot be physically present, the event is being streamed live on the National Cultural Foundation’s Facebook and Youtube pages.
Christmas in the Park is a long standing Bajan tradition which dates back to 1907 when the first concert was staged in the Park by the then Royal Barbados Police Force.
