Christ Church residents call for extension of bulk waste collection

Some Christ Church residents are calling for an extension of the bulk waste collection service.

This follows a two-day initiative organised by Barbados Labour Party candidate for Christ Church South, Dr. Shantal Munro-Knight, allowing residents in the Carters A and B communities to dispose of household refuse.

Trucks from the Sanitation Service Authority were out from as early as 7:30 a.m. daily.

Resident Stephen Atkins expressed gratitude to Dr. Munro-Knight for the assistance, while another resident, Jan Toppin, called for the initiative to become a regular occurrence.
