The one hundred and thirty thousand dollars raised through the Chefette Fun Run 2024 will be shared amongst four local charities.
The funds raised from sponsorship and the sale of t-shirts will be donated to the Aunty Olga Needy Children’s Fund at Variety the Children’s Charity, the Precious Touch Foundation, the Young Women’s Christian Association, as well as the Eden Lodge Youth Charitable Trust which for the first time will receive a piece of the pie.
The run which had just shy of five thousand participants this year, will be held on Sunday, June 8 2025.
Managing Director, Chefette Group of Companies, Ryan Haloute says the funds from the annual event continue to play a pivotal role in helping needy families.
Meanwhile, Chief Barker of Variety the Children’s Charity, Ryan Jones, says the donation will go towards the 2024 edition of the Aunty Olga Memorial School Aid Programme.
