The Barbados Environmental Conservation Trust wants Barbadians to be a part of the solution to save the planet.
It has reached out to change makers, issuing a call for proposals for projects tackling plastic pollution and driving sustainable waste management.
Executive Director Ché Greenidge says a key part of the solution is to tackle plastic pollution at the source.
Ms. Greenidge was a guest on CBC TV8’s Mornin’ Barbados.
Meanwhile, Project Manager Ria Harrison has acknowledged the strides made by the country in tackling plastic pollution.
She says there’s a wide array of issues plastic pollution can cause.
