Deputy Prime Minister Santia Bradshaw wants to see an entity set up that will oversee the management of issues impacting the Scotland District.
She’s assured residents there’s a working plan for the area but stressed issues cannot be addressed overnight.
While noting officials see relocation as a last resort, she revealed it’s a costly exercise to allow people to remain there.
Ms. Bradshaw, who is also the Minister of Transport, says Government is battling with issues of climate change and its impact in the Scotland District, including its road infrastructure which she admits they had to prioritise.
