BWA: No islandwide shutdown

The Barbados Water Authority says a message warning about an islandwide shutdown of the water network is untrue.

The Authority says it has no such plan and has issued no public notice to that effect.

BWA customers are being reminded they should only check and follow credible sources for any notifications issued by the Authority.

These sources include the Barbados Water Authority itself, its Instagram and Facebook pages, as well as its website, or information shared by the BWA via the Barbados Government Information Service or accredited media houses.
