The Barbados Water Authority is informing the public that today, Thursday, October 27th, it is experiencing challenges with two of its distribution systems which supply water to some St. Michael districts.
As a result, residents in Belleville, Lower Collymore Rock, Dunlow Lane, Martindale Road, Nelson Street, White Park, Bank Hall, Deacons Road, Pile Bay, Brighton, Black Rock, Holders Land, Goodland, Lower Richmond Gap, Westbury Road, Barbarees Hill, Passage Road, Kings Village, New Orleans, Emmerton, Bridgetown, Country Road, Halls Road, Green Field, Carrington Village, Station Hill and the surrounding areas may experience low pressure or a water outage.
BWA personnel are investigating this problem, along with the report of a suspected burst main at Redland, St George.
Water tankers are being dispatched to assist residents in all affected districts.
The Barbados Water Authority has apologized for the inconvenience these service disruptions may cause.
