Buildings in Barbados not fit for purpose will be rebuilt either by choice or force.
That’s according to Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley who says a timeline of 20 years has been set for houses and commercial buildings to meet the construction criteria to withstand the impacts of climate change.
Ms. Mottley says she wants Barbadians to understand that the country must enter a new era with respect to construction and adaptation.
