Barbadians are being warned to brace for an increase in motor insurance premiums.
This is after figures from the General Insurance Association of Barbados (GIAB) suggest claims paid out by insurers have increased by about 12 million dollars annually between 2020 and 2022.
The figures for 2023 have not yet been complied.
