The Barbados Postal Service continues to evolve despite the advances in technology.
And according to Minister of Home Affairs and Information Wilfred Abrahams postal services globally are adapting to the new realities.
He was speaking during his message to mark World Post Day 2024 today.
Minister Abrahams says while recognising the logistical challenges posed without the BPS having its own fleet of aircraft, they have formed strategic partnerships to bridge those gaps.
One such notable partnership is with DHL, which enables the BPS to offer a co-branded worldwide express service to countries where the Barbadian network faces significant limitations.
As part of its broader modernisation efforts, the BPS is currently rolling out a new postal software solution – Postglobal by Reason Solutions Ltd.
